How long does it take for my USD deposit to arrive in my Higlobe account?

  • Updated

Understanding the timeframe for payments on Higlobe involves a few key steps in the payment process:

ACH Transfers

ACH transfers can take up to 72 business hours to complete, though most are credited to the receiving bank within 24 business hours. Please note that this timeframe is determined solely by the US banking system and is beyond our control.

If your payment hasn’t arrived within 72 business hours of the time it was sent to you, it could indicate that there is an issue. However, in most cases, delays arise because either the sender used incorrect bank account information for the ACH transfer to you, or because he or she tried to use a transfer method that is not supported by Higlobe. Please keep in mind, Higlobe supports ACH transfers and US domestic wire transfers only. We do not support and cannot accept international wire transfers or Zelle payments.

If you're experiencing a delay of more than 72 business hours, please confirm with the sender that they used the correct bank account information and a supported payment method when making the transfer to you. If you believe that the correct bank information was used and your payment still hasn’t arrived, please contact our Support team for further assistance. If possible, please try to have documentation of the sent payment.

What are the operating hours of Higlobe's receiving bank?

The Higlobe receiving bank is located in New Jersey and operates during normal business hours in the US Eastern Timezone (GMT-5). Customers in the Philippines should please take this time difference into account when sending payment requests.

Receipt Analysis

As explained in detail in our article How to fill out Higlobe Receipt to release your payment? once you receive a deposit, you’ll need to complete a receipt with the payer's details for internal analysis. This is to ensure the payment is professional and meets compliance standards.

This review can take up to 24 business hours, but we typically complete it much faster, often within a few hours, as we prioritize these requests. However, during times of high volume, the 24 business hours might be needed.

Withdrawal Timeframe

When you request a withdrawal, it's usually processed within minutes. However, some factors can occasionally affect this timing:

  • Random Security Checks: To prioritize your security, Higlobe may randomly select withdrawals for a manual review. This can extend the processing time by up to 24 business hours.
  • Mexican Clabe validation: For compliance reasons, some withdrawals may require manual CLABE validation. This process can take up to 24 business hours.

How long will a withdrawal take to reach my bank account in the Philippines?

In the Philippines, local withdrawals are processed through one of two banking networks, depending on the amount withdrawn: InstaPay and PesoNet.

Withdrawals of PHP 50,000 or less:

These are processed via InstaPay, and funds are typically credited to the receiving bank account within 30 minutes.

Withdrawals of greater than PHP 50,000:

These are processed via PesoNet, and funds will be delivered on the next banking day (T+1).

Please note that processing times may vary slightly depending on your bank's operating hours and any system maintenance.

Notice for Customers in the Philippines:

Starting April 2025, withdrawals to Philippine bank accounts will be processed only during regular Philippine banking hours (9am - 5 pm). This means:

  • No withdrawals can be made on weekends or public holidays (transactions made during this period will be processed the next business day); and
  • Withdrawals will only be processed on business days, during normal business hours.

We understand the importance of faster access to your funds and we are actively working to improve the availability of our withdrawal capabilities. We'll keep you updated as improvements roll out.
