What's Two-Factor Authentication and how does Higlobe use It?

  • Updated

Two-factor authentication takes place when a system requires the use of a second layer of security, in addition to the password, in order to access a website. This type of authentication provides additional protection against unauthorized access to your Higlobe account.

This authentication can take several forms. Higlobe’s two-factor authentication will require you to use a third-party authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator. Google Authenticator, or whichever app you choose to use, will provide you with a one-time password to use in addition to your Higlobe password each time you sign in to your Higlobe account.  You’ll be asked to configure your two-factor authentication when you open your account.
