Can I buy digital dollars with Higlobe?

Yes, you can now buy digital dollars (USDC) with Higlobe. Read this article to know how. 

Note: This feature is currently available only in Brazil, but will soon be rolled out to other countries! 

 

1. What is the new "Add Funds" feature?

It is a self-service experience that lets you move money from your local bank account directly into your Higlobe account. Your local currency (BRL) is automatically converted into digital dollars (USD/USDC) and deposited into your account within minutes.

2. Do I need to upload an invoice or proof of income?

No. Unlike previous methods, this flow does not require an invoice, source of funds documentation, or any administrative hassle.

3. How do I access this feature?

You can start the flow at any time directly from your main dashboard navigation bar:

  •  Click on "Add Funds"

  • Check the account ownership (If your Higlobe account is personal, you can only send money from a personal account. If you have a business account, you can only send money from your business account): 
  • Copy the code and perform the transfer: 

 

4. What are the rules regarding account ownership?

The Tax ID (CPF or CNPJ) on both accounts must match exactly. * If you have a Higlobe Individual Account, the money must come from your personal bank account (PF - same CPF).

  • If you have a Higlobe Business Account, the money must come from your company’s bank account (PJ - same CNPJ).

⚠️ Important: Transfers from third parties or mixed accounts (e.g., sending from a personal CPF account into a Higlobe CNPJ business account) will fail the validation check and will be returned automatically.

5. How do I actually make the deposit?

Once you click "Add Funds", the system will generate a secure Pix code for you:

  1. Tap "Copy Pix Code" (or Copy Pix Key).

  2. Open your local bank app, go to the Pix section, and paste the code.

  3. You can send any BRL amount you like!

6. What exchange rate will I get?

The conversion rate shown on the screen when you generate the code is for reference. Your final conversion rate will be locked in and determined at the exact moment your transfer is processed and hits your account.

 

7. What's the cost of the transfer?

The cost to send money is the same one from receiving. Only 0.3%, no IOF or other hidden fees.
