What's Higlobe's lowest cost guarantee?

To ensure that our users always receive the lowest cost we provide a Lowest Cost Guarantee.

By this we mean Higlobe will always deliver more local currency to your bank account for the dollars you wish to change, than any competitor for a transaction executed at that time.

The question to ask yourself is: 


Are you getting the best deal, mathematically calculated by getting more local currency per dollar or not?

If you are, Higlobe is doing great.  If you feel you get more local currency  delivered by someone else, tell us, and we will reimburse you.

How do we price our service?

We strive to charge you a spread of 30 bps over the commercial rate.  

Sometimes the commercial rate changes and we can momentarily be out of sync with it, especially first thing in the morning and if there is a significant dollar movement.  Most often the rate change will benefit you, however in a few cases the rate may go the other way.

The worst case is that you may be charged a few cents more…but you should still be getting the best transfer deal with us given the extremely low 30bps mark-up we charge.


If you feel that you can get a better deal than ours (calculated as more local currency to your bank account) at the time of withdrawal, do not hesitate to reach out to request a reimbursement for the difference.

How to request:

  • Send an e-mail to guarantee@higlobe.com with the subject: “Lowest Cost Guarantee Claim”.
  • In the body of the e-mail, state that you wish to request the Lowest Cost Guarantee refund and send a screenshot of the alternative offer
  • The request must be made within 48 hours of the withdrawal.

How reimbursement works:

Our team will check the total local currency we delivered and will compare it to the competitive offer you received.
