How can my payor pay me by Credit Card?
At this time, credit card acceptance is available only to Higlobe customers who have received prior approval. In general, approval will not be granted to customers until they have received three payments of not less than $500 per payment.

How does the credit card payment receipt process work?
To request a credit card payment from your payor, you simply prepare a payment request on the Higlobe website. A personalized payment link will be generated at the same time that you prepare a payment request. You can then send the full payment request, or just the personal payment link. to your client/payor via email, text, or any other digital communication platform. Please note that the payment link will expire after 24 hours.
When your payor clicks on the payment link, a new browser window will open where they will be asked to enter their credit or debit card number, the amount to be paid, and some additional information, such as their email and zip code. Once they enter the requested information, they simply press the purple “PAY’ bar at the bottom of the page. This will charge their card, and the payment to you is initiated.
Are there any limitations in connection with receiving credit card payments from my payors through Higlobe?
Yes. There are certain limitations on receiving payments by credit card through Higlobe:
$2,000 Payment Limit: Higlobe will not process credit card payments of more than $2,000, unless you are specifically approved for a higher amount;
Seven Day Hold Time: Higlobe will hold all payments made by credit card for seven days, unless you are specifically approved for a shorter period. The payment will appear in your account when it is received, with a notification that it is pending. The payment will be fully available for withdrawal after seven days.
How much does it cost to pay by credit card?
Higlobe charges a credit card transaction fee of 4% + $.30% transaction fee of the amount of the payment for all payments made using a credit card issued in the U.S. This fee is collected from the payor at the time that a credit card payment is made. There are no other fees or charges to accept a credit card payment.
Who covers the credit card transaction fee?
You can decide. The Higlobe credit card service will collect the 4% + $.30% fee from the payor. However, there is a difference between collecting the transaction fee and covering the cost of the transaction fee. You can choose to cover the transaction fee by reducing the amount of your invoice by 4% + $.30%, thereby shifting the cost from your client to you. It's up to you.
What other fees will my client be charged?
None. The only fee charged to the client is the transaction fee of 4% + $.30% of the payment amount described above. This is the only fee applied to the use of a credit card or debit card issued in the U.S.
My payor wants to use their debit card instead of a credit card. Can they do that?
Yes. Higlobe can accept payments from both credit cards and debit cards. Unfortunately, however, we cannot accept prepaid payment cards at this time.
How long will it take for me to receive a credit card payment?
It will typically take between three and four business days to process a credit card payment. In other words, between three and four business days will elapse between the day that your payor enters his or her credit card information and the day that the payment is available in your Higobe account.
Please remember that weekends and holidays are not business days, so if your payor initiates the payment on a Friday, you will not receive it until Wednesday or Thursday, depending on what time they sent the payment. Please also note that while 3-4 business days is the typical processing time, occasionally it may take longer.
Will I be notified when my payor initiates a credit card payment to me?
At the moment, you will not receive a notification that a payor has made a credit card payment to you. You will receive a notification when the payment arrives into your Higlobe account, like you do with an ACH or wire transfer.
Can someone outside the U.S. pay me with a credit card, and if so, is there an extra fee?
Yes, our platform enables you to receive payments from international clients using a card that was issued outside of the U.S. However, an additional 1.5% international transaction fee will be added to the standard 4% + $.30% transaction fee for any payment made with an non-U.S. credit card.
Will my client have to pay a foreign exchange fee if they use a credit card?
In the majority of cases, no. If your client is using a credit card that is denominated in dollars, as all payment cards issued in the U.S. are, they will not incur a foreign transaction or foreign exchange fee when making a payment to you, since the payment will be made in US dollars and your Higlobe receiving account accepts US dollars.
However, of course you will pay the usual FX fee when making a withdrawal to your home country bank account, as you would when receiving an ordinary ACH or wire transfer.
In what currency will the charges be made?
All charges will be made in USD, simplifying the conversion process and financial management for you.
How can I share my payment link?
You can share your personalized payment link through email, text, or any digital communication platform. This link enables them to pay you quickly and securely with their credit card.
Can I receive payments from Europe?
Yes, our system is designed to handle international transactions, allowing you to receive payments from Europe easily. However, please be aware that payments made with international cards may incur additional charges, including a 1% international transaction fee and an additional exchange rate fee to pay for the cost of converting the foreign currency into USD.
Here's the step by step on how to send the link to your payor:
1.- Access Payment Requests:
- Navigate to the 'Get Paid' tab and select 'Payment Requests'.
2.- Enter the Payment Amount:
- Specify the amount you would like to receive.
3.- Specify the Reason for Payment:
- Enter a description or reason for the payment you are about to receive. This helps clarify the purpose of the transaction for your payer.
4.- Review and Share Your Payment Link:
- Once you've entered the details, a payment link will be generated. You can now share this link with your clients or the payer via email, text.
5.- Client Payment Process:
- Your clients will see an option to 'Pay via Credit Card' when they access the link.
- They will need to enter their credit card details to proceed with the payment.
6.- Receive Your Funds:
- After the payment is processed, you will receive your funds within the standard ACH transfer time, typically between 1 to 4 business days.
