Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

  • Updated

What is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and how does it work at Higlobe?

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your Higlobe account that requires two forms of identification: your password and a code sent to the email linked to your Higlobe account. This code is only valid for a limited time. You'll be prompted for a 2FA code when logging in. Remember, Higlobe will never ask you to share this code.

What should I do if I do not receive the 2FA code?

If you do not receive the 2FA code within a few minutes, check your spam folder. If it’s not there, you can request a resend by clicking “Resend Code” on the login screen. If you still do not receive it, or if you have recently changed your email address, please contact our support team at support@higlobe.com for assistance.

Can I disable 2FA or use a different method for receiving the 2FA code?

No, 2FA via email is mandatory and cannot be disabled. We do not offer alternative methods for receiving the 2FA code at this time.

From which email address will the 2FA codes be sent?

2FA codes are sent from no-reply@higlobe.com. To ensure that you receive these emails promptly and they are not marked as junk, please add this address to your email client’s whitelist.

How can I ensure that I receive the 2FA emails correctly?

To avoid issues with receiving 2FA codes, add the address no-reply@higlobe.com to your email client's safe senders list. This will help ensure that emails are not marked as spam or automatically discarded.
